Who we are

We are dedicated to helping ministers and churches meet the challenge of today’s perplexing money problems. We help relieve you of pressures, burdens, and worries that interfere with the needed study of God’s Word and your ministry to the spiritual needs of those around you. Assist serves as a catalyst for you and your financial needs.

For more than 50 years, Assist has been providing expertise in the tax laws affecting churches. It all started in 1970 when Ted Monroe recognized the complicated financial situations facing ministers and missionaries. Ted started Assist to help them navigate complex tax laws.

Assist has been family owned and operated for three generations and is currently led by Mitch Monroe and his son Sean. They continue to provide excellent service to clients all over the world.

Church Payroll

Is your church compliant?

Churches are required by the IRS to file quarterly wage reports (Form 941s) even if no tax is due. Assist can help with the preparation of these forms each quarter as well as the end of year payroll forms (W-3, W-2, 1096, 1099).

Assist will also help ensure that your payroll is accurate and answer any questions you might have.

Fees

  • $75 one-time set up fee
  • $75 per quarter, includes preparation of the following for up to 5 employees:
    • Form 941
    • W-3
    • W-2
    • 1096 and 1099- $10 each
